Leeteuk is dead. At least that's what Twitter is saying. However the South Korean Super Junior singer, whose real name is Park Jeong-Su, didn't die. He's just the victim of a Twitter death hoax. Leeteuk is just fine.
Rumors started going around this week that Leeteuk died. A photo of what appears to be a real CNN article made rounds on Twitter. The article says that the 29-year-old enlisted singer died in friendly fire from an unnamed soldier.
The article is fake. It's nothing more than a good PhotoShop job. The real CNN article about this doesn't exist. In fact no news sources have reported on the singer's supposed death.
Many pointed to a Twitter user named Cheryl as the person who started the rumor. The user, whose handle is @makeup admitted to spreading the rumor and making it a trend on Twitter.
"Basically I started a rip leeteuk trend and it's gone viral and elfs are so mad
