Sometimes, even professional athletes are in awe of other athletes and what tennis star, Serena Williams, did on Friday proves the theory.
While in attendance at the "Honda Classic" in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and standing with the gallery at the 17th hole waiting for Tiger Woods to tee off, Williams took out her iPhone to snap a photo of the former golfing No.1.
As she was about to click the photo, a tournament official noticed and immediately walked toward her, waved his arm to get her attention and then let her know that taking photos was not allowed, according to Los Angeles Times.
The reason for this mishap could be that it was either a rule she was not of aware of, or thought, due to her own celebrity, it didn't apply to her.
However, the tennis champion was quick to defend herself via Twitter, stating, "apparently u can't take pictures of golfers. In my Defense peeps [people] always take pics of tennis players."
In any case, rule or no rule, Williams found a way to break it later in the day by succeeding in taking a photo of Woods on the green, allowing her to boast about it by posting it on Twitter.
"Tiger Woods at the golf tournament I am at," the athlete noted.
As for Woods, his day on the golf course didn't go as planned.
"I didn't quite have my game like I did yesterday," Woods said Friday, according to ESPN. The golf pro is nine shots off the lead.
Adding, "I hit much better yesterday, but I putted better today, so it all evened out."
On the bright side, at least he finished his round. The same could not be said about his rival, Rory Mcllroy, who left before his round was even over, stating, "I lost my game."
