Located in the northern side of the island, Maracas Bay boasts of blue-green waters and off white sand. With a coastline that's 1. 25 miles (two kilometers) long, it has become a favorite among beach lovers.

Maracas Bay can be reached by driving from the capital, Port of Spain, which makes it relatively accessible for visitors. It is one of the favorite spots of those who enjoy surfing due to its waves that can reach three feet (one meter).

It is also one of the best places to go to for anyone looking to try local delicacies. It is also a good place to find local crafts and souvenirs to take home.
