Rumors are swirling that actress Rachel McAdams and her beau of two years Michael Sheen have called it quits. McAdams and Sheen were co stars in the Woody Allen flick, "Midnight in Paris."
CBS reported that Sheen, 44, met McAdams,34, on set in Oct. 2010 and started dating. Us Weekly has reported that the duo has broken up after the two year courtship. There hasn't been official word from either of them or their publicists so, for now, it's just heresay.
CBS reported that the couple has been doing long distance while McAdams lives in Toronto and Sheen in Wales and Los Angeles. McAdams was once linked to heartthrob Ryan Gosling, whom she was engaged to in 2007 and Sheen has a 14-year-old daughter with Kate Beckinsale, who he was in a relationship with for eight years.
Sheen told People Magazine in 2011 that he thought McAdams was, "talented, intelligent, beautiful. She's warm and friendly. She's very supportive, and very kind, very funny. She makes me laugh a lot."
McAdams said to Stella magazine, just last monthi n January that "Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart ... but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not."
She also said to Stella that they couple didn't get together while filming "Midnight in Paris," but after, which she says she feels strongly about not doing while working.
"We became quite good friends, which I think is a great way to start," she said. "I felt very blessed to have made a Woody Allen film in Paris together."
McAdam's IMDB page says about her career that "her breakout role as Regina George in the hit comedy Mean Girls (2004) instantly catapulted her onto the short list of Hollywood's hottest young actresses. She followed that film with a star turn opposite Ryan Gosling in the adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks bestseller The Notebook (2004), which was a surprise box office success and became the predominant romantic drama for a new, young generation of moviegoers. After filming, McAdams and Gosling became romantically involved and dated through mid-2007. McAdams next showcased her versatility onscreen with the manic comedy Wedding Crashers (2005), the thriller Red Eye (2005), and the holiday drama The Family Stone (2005)."
