For example, if you buy 50,000 miles, you'll get an extra 50,000 miles for free, making each mile cost just 1.88 cents. This deal is available until May 28 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Remember, you can buy up to 200,000 miles each year, including bonus miles.
However, it might take up to 72 hours for these miles to show up in your account, so plan accordingly since award seats can disappear quickly.
Moreover, United Airlines has partnered with IHG Hotels for another great way to earn miles. By linking your MileagePlus and IHG One Rewards accounts, you can register for a promotion that triples your United miles on hotel stays.
