After Seth MacFarlane's job of hosting the Oscars and garnering mixed reviews, Tina Fey, according to CBS News, has said "no way" when answering the question, if she would ever host a future Oscars ceremony.
The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and "30 Rock" Scarlet has hosting credentials already under her belt, as she co-stared, along with Amy Peohler (her longtime friend and fellow "Saturday Night Live" alum), the Golden Globes back in January.
"I just feel like that gig is so hard," Fey told The Huffington Post, "Especially for, like, a woman -- the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone...no way."
And when The Huffington Post reporter pushed further asking, "not even a one-in-a-million chance?"
Fey stood her ground, but answered in a gentle fashion:
"I wish I could tell you there was," she declared.
It isn't just The Huffington Post asking or wanting her to host, even William Shatner -- who appeared during the Oscars "from the future" as Captain James T. Kirk to explain how poorly Seth MacFarlane's hosting gig would be received by the media -- asked, "Why couldn't they get Tina and Amy to host?."
Another rumor going around that could be blocking the Fey-Peohler connection from hosting the 2014 Academy Awards is the fifth-place network, NBC, to which she is still under contract.
There could be legal problems. The Oscars are carried on ABC. "No, you can," Tina Fey says, but it's still "no way," according to Examiner.
As for what Fey is up to acting wise, she recently wrapped up her seven-year, award-winning stint on the TV sitcom, the aforementioned, "30 Rock" and will be seen next month in the big-screen comedy "Admission."
