LEGOLAND Adds a Twist to Park Rides with Minifigure Skyflyer

LEGOLAND® New York Resort is set to open a unique attraction this summer, the Minifigure Skyflyer. This gondola-style ride is a first for LEGOLAND Resorts and promises an exciting experience for guests. It will connect different parts of the park and feature interactive elements.

Exciting New Attraction at LEGOLAND

LEGOLAND New York is introducing the Minifigure Skyflyer, an innovative ride that allows guests to travel between the park's themed areas. Opening this summer, this gondola-style ride is designed to be interactive, offering a new way to explore the park.

LEGOLAND New York has partnered with Belleayre Mountain to give families a preview of this attraction. They have introduced two special ski gondolas, designed like the Minifigure Skyflyer Pirate Party Pod. These are available for Belleayre skiers until April, weather permitting. Riders of these gondolas can scan a QR code for a chance to get "Kids Go Free" tickets to LEGOLAND with an adult ticket purchase.

According to Breaking Travel News, the Minifigure Skyflyer at LEGOLAND will provide a fully engaging experience. Before boarding, guests will be part of an interactive process that includes a disco-themed dance floor. Here, they can dance under LEGO® brick disco ball lights. The ride has seven different themed Party Pods, such as pirate, space, and disco, each seating up to ten people. These pods are also ADA-accessible.

Stephanie Johnson, Divisional Director of LEGOLAND New York, highlighted the importance of guest feedback in creating the Minifigure Skyflyer. This ride offers fun and makes moving around the large resort easier for visitors. It is designed to spark creativity and imagination through its unique features.

The Minifigure Skyflyer is set to be a major attraction at LEGOLAND, enhancing the overall guest experience with its unique blend of travel, interactivity, and fun.

LEGOLAND Florida Unveils Life-Size LEGO Ferrari Attraction

LEGOLAND Florida Resort has introduced a life-size LEGO Ferrari 296 GTS model, a new attraction for its visitors. The massive LEGO car, now parked at LEGO Ferrari Build and Race, took 1,850 hours to complete by a skilled team, including a designer, six master builders, and three animators. As per Inpark Magazine, this LEGO replica, measuring 15 feet long, 7.5 feet wide, and 4 feet tall, weighs almost two tons and features working headlights, an opening driver's door, and a roaring engine sound.

The new LEGO Ferrari Build and Race attraction, opening on March 8, offers guests of all ages a hands-on experience with the speed and luxury of Ferrari. It includes three areas: a build zone, a test zone with three tracks, and a digital zone for virtual racing. Younger guests can enjoy the LEGO DUPLO build zone, which is designed with larger bricks for small hands.

Fans are encouraged to guess the number of bricks used in the LEGO Ferrari on LEGOLAND Florida Resort's Instagram page. This attraction reflects Merlin Entertainments' ongoing partnership with Ferrari, mirroring similar attractions at LEGOLAND California, Billund, and Windsor Resorts.

Open to the public from March 8 at 10:30 a.m., the first 5,000 visitors will receive a special LEGO Ferrari Build and Race flag. The attraction is included in the LEGOLAND Florida Resort admission price. More details are available on LEGOLAND's website and social media channels.
