United Flight 1639 had just landed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport when it slipped off the pavement and into a grassy, snow-covered area.
The plane had 103 passengers and five crew member on board but no one was injured. The passengers and crew were forced to exit by stairs.

A United Airlines plane slid off the pavement at Cleveland's main airport early on Friday shortly after landing, forcing passengers and crew to exit by stairs, but no injuries were reported, airport and airline officials said.
"Crews were out all evening and morning," Mayo said. "We don't know why it happened, but it is safe for planes to land and taxi for takeoff."Officials are trying to determine what caused the plane to slip.
Cleveland Hopkins posted information about the incident on their Facebook page. The message read:
"At approx. 1045 a.m., UAL 1639 landed at CLE from Fort Lauderdale. While turning on to the taxiway, the aircraft slid into the grass and snow. There were no reported injuries among the 103 passengers and five crew members. All customers are off the aircraft and in the terminal."
Certain areas of Ohio were under a winter advisory due to harsh winter weather. The road conditions were reported as extremely icy in these areas.
This isn't the only incident in which a plane went off the runway. Others were much more serious. Earlier this month, a Carpatair flight went off the runway in Rome. When the plane landed in the grass, three people were injured and the landing gear was damaged.
