Widely thought to be the most beautiful city in the UK, you shouldn't go here without your camera as there are just so many stunning scenes you'll just have to photograph. Exploring the dreamy spires of this city should definitely be on your UK bucket list if it isn't already. Winding its way alongside the River Thames for a massive 184 miles all the way from its source high up in The Cotswolds, the Thames Path leads all the way to the sea, passing through London, Staines, Marlowe, Henley, The Chilterns, Abingdon and Oxford. Due to the stunning scenery and flat, easy-to-walk terrain, it's one of the most appealing long-distance paths in the UK. It takes around two weeks to walk the entire path, so most people prefer to break it down into a series of day-long segments.

The British Museum:

If you love museums and enjoy learning about all kinds of history, then you should definitely have The British Museum on your UK bucket list. With eight million pieces dedicated to human history around the world, it's easy to get lost for a day in here - and still have so much more to explore when you're done.

Porthcurno Beach:

Cornwall is a gorgeous part of the UK and it's easy to see why it's a top vacation destination for the British. There's so much to see and do in the area, and it's home to some of the UK's most spectacular beaches, including Porthcurno Beach. This award-winning beach can be found around three miles east of Land's End, on the south coast. It's popular with families thanks to the stream that's ideal for children to paddle in. More experienced swimmers are drawn to its steep shelves, and the clean white sand and crystal clear blue water makes it an ideal destination for those looking to relax.

Stonehenge:

Dating back around five thousand years, Stonehenge is one of the ancient wonders of the world and one of the oldest attractions in the UK. The monument is thought to have taken five hundred years to build in three stages, although some theories have suggested that it took much longer. The mystery surrounding Stonehenge is what makes it so fascinating to visit; nobody knows exactly why it was constructed or how the stones got there. You can learn all about the myths and secrets of Stonehenge at the Exhibition Center when you book a Stonehenge tour, plus see the monument itself and explore fascinating homes from the neolithic era.

Balmoral:

Set amidst the gorgeous forested Cairngorms, you'll soon agree that the Royal Family made a great choice in Balmoral as the place to get away from the demands of their daily life for over one hundred and fifty years. The estate was purchased and built by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. You can't see all of the castle, but the ballroom is open to the public. And you can wander around the grounds, complete with an audio guide that offers a unique look at the past and present of royal life in the UK.
