Boy George showed off his svelte body at the WhatsOnStage.com Awards in London. The English, "Karma Chameloen" Star, 51, lost a lot of weight on a new diet regimen. The Sun reported that George has been working with nutritional therapist Amelia Freer and credits her for his weight loss.
He wrote on Twitter that she was "my secret" and posted a link to her webpage. The Sun reported that he wrote that the routine included "Portion control. 5 hour gaps between meals. No coffee or tea, except at meals. Water & fizzy water between meals!"
The Mirror reported that George attending the awards wearing "a beige cap and an electric blue tie was loosely fastened around his baggy black shirt, complete with his trademark coating of make-up."
Freer's websit states about her work, "Striking a balance can be difficult, fraught with complications, and confused by marketing messages from food manufacturers. As an experienced nutritional therapist, I will guide, encourage and support you through your journey towards optimal health and peak condition."
Freer is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

Boy George was extremely popular in the 1980s and part of the group, Culture Club. He continues to make music today as a solo artist. He has a show made about his life in London called Taboo.
