A hotel guest got a little drunk and decided to go for a little swim -in a fish tank-in the hotel lobby. The ordeal was caught on video.
The intoxicated prankster was in the lobby of the Raddison Blue hotel in Jersey in the UK when he decided to climb into the over 3,000-gallon, 6-foot fish tank fully clothed last Saturday.
The drunk man, who is referred to as Matt by a friend, swam around the tank full of fish as his friends filmed the ordeal on a camera phone. They can be heard laughing in the background.
Matt was a guest at the four-star hotel and the antics were not taken lightly by hotel employees. A hotel staff member can be heard shouting "'What are you f***ing doing?"
As the hotel employee approaches, Matt climbs out of the tank, but continues to taunt the worker as he hangs out on top of the tank edge. His friends tell him "quick go!"
He then runs out of the building as the hotel employee follows behind.
Hotel owners are not reviewing their security measures following the prank. Rooms at the hotel go for up to $285 a night.
There were fish in the tank at the time but Lydia Smith, director of sales and marketing, said the fish were not harmed, but she wasn't amused by the stunt.
'It was a careless act and dangerous for all involved, including the fish," Smith said, according to the Daily Mail.
The video of the incident was posted to YouTube and has gone viral as it was posted over 10,000 times
