With the reports of North Korea now almost, if not fully capable of producing nuclear weapons, Iran has become like the forgotten son and needed something big to return to legitimacy.
For a country that the United States of America still considers a volatile nation with their own nuclear weapon aspiration, though not anywhere near functional, claiming to have a Stealth Fighter Jet that they aren't afraid to use during warfare is big news.
To make sure the U.S. and Iranian citizens knew they weren't bluffing, they released photos.
This turned out to be their biggest mistake.
Upon closer inspection by the theaviationist.com, "they notice specific aircraft flaws that would make the aircraft "a fake" such as too small of a cockpit, or too little wires behind the dashboard. In addition there are no inspection panels on the plane to diagnose issues. The engine section lacks any kind of nozzle which would mean the engine afterburners would melt the entire engine," according to buypoe.com.
God bless Photoshop.
The aviation community itself said that Iran's Qahar 313 Stealth Fighter "couldn't fly even if it was shot out of a cannon," according to now.msn.com.
It's "a plastic model rather than a real jet," stated The Guardian.
On top of the Photoshop picture of the 313 Stealth Fighter Jet Iran suggested could "not only fly, but looked awfully fetching while soaring over Mount Damavand, (Iran's tallest peak,)" according to now.msn.com, the jet also came equipped with "a lazy copy/paste (job) of a multimissile [sic] launch, claiming a Japanese drone prototype as its own technology," reported now.msn.com.
