Thailand, Bali, Orlando Summer Trip Cheaper Than Summer In Spain, Ibiza

Spain has been a popular site for family tourists because of its views and tourist attractions that would give them a quality time despite its costliness. A new research shows that the money saved for the European country could be more worthy in places like Thailand, Bali and even Orlando.

In an article published by Mirror, when taking into account flights, hotels, car hire, and meals, the family's money is better spent in Thailand, Bali, and Orlando compared to Spain or Ibiza. This is based on the study through price comparison by travel website Travel Supermarket.

If a family of four will go to Phuket, Thailand rather than in Menorca, Spain, they could save around £800. If they pick Orlando, Florida over Spain or Ibiza, they could save £1,240.

"People may think that their holiday budget can only stretch to the Med, that they can't afford long-haul, and that holidays are going to be more expensive this year due to volatile exchange rates," Emma Coulthurst, a travel expert for Travel Supermarket, said in an article published in Telegraph.

"But the reality is holiday package prices in places like Thailand, Bali, and Orlando are lower this year in some locations and there are bargains to be grabbed, which provide the opportunity to experience long-haul for less," she added.

Travel Supermarket said that Bali and Orlando have shown the biggest annual price drops compared to other tourists destinations. With the holiday prices, a trip to Bali is 16 percent cheaper compared to Spain and a trip to Orlando would be 11 percent cheaper. With the affordability, Thailand could be a good destination since they have a low cost of living. A simple lunch is also cheaper with foods in Thailand and Bali only costs £1.50 than in any European countries.

With all of those reasons, a family could enjoy the kiss of the sun with a cheap yet quality price in Thailand, Bali, or Orlando than Spain in Ibiza. Time to schedule those dates.
