It is a catfight of immense proportions. It is one that has the potential to break the country music world in half. It is, the feud between Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.
Rumors have circulated, according to The New York Daily News, that Swift isn't a fan of fellow country star Underwood, 29, because she "hates" her "rudeness."
"Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steers clear of her," a source recently told Us Weekly.
It was reported by many sources that the issues between the two divas had gotten to point of trying to avoid one another at the Grammy Awards.
"Swift was reported to be hoping to avoid the American Idol winner at the recent Grammy Awards in Los Angeles amid claims Swift was not a fan of Underwood's attitude," stated wdef.com.
The only problem with a great story like this is that it isn't true., both have denied any rift between them and Underwood made that very clear during her interview with "CBS This Morning."
When asked by Gayle King if she had some issue with Swift, Underwood replied, "No, not that I know of at least." She even went on to say that "I Knew You Were Trouble" was her favorite Taylor Swift song. "It sounded a lot different for her. I liked the branching out, trying some different sounds," she explained.
When asked about her competing with Swift, Underwood replied with a dragged out, "No," adding, "not that I know of, at least," reported zapp2it.com.
Both Swift and Underwood performed at the Grammys on Feb. 10, and they also walked out with awards. Swift won Best Song Written for Visual Media for "Safe and Sound," while Underwood won Best Country Solo Performance for "Blown Away," according to zap2it.com.
