Playing the dual role of host and musical guest, Justin Bieber stole the show on "Saturday Night Live."
Starting his monologue out discussing Black History Month and Valentine's Day simultaneously, he scanned the crowd for one special fan to give her the bouquet of roses in his hand.
As he searches, the fans are waiting and screaming in anticipation, hoping to be that lucky girl to get the gift of a lifetime and it only takes a few seconds before Bieber finds that girl-none other than Whoopi Goldberg.
Ignoring the jealousy of the fans who actually through Bieber would be giving one of them flowers, the 57-year-old actress joins Bieber on the stage to receive the roses. Once having the bouquet in hand, the 18-year-old heart throb treats her to an a cappella rendition of "One Less Lonely Girl," according to MTV.
After the opening, Bieber wasted no time getting the show started. His first skit was titled Backstage Bieber Doubles. In this skit his security rep proposes that they hire a group of look-alikes to control fan traffic. JB quickly trashes the decoy concept by emphasizing that the doubles don't look like him, don't possess his singing talents and definitely don't move the way he moves. However, the Biebs does find one decoy who offers some resemblance. "That one over there kind of looks like me," he tells his rep, at which point the look-alike walks before him and says, "Oh, it's just me, Ellen [DeGeneres]. Sorry. I came backstage to say great job, Bieber," reported MTV.
However, the skit of the night was one dubbed as Miley Cyrus' Fan Club President.
Bieber, portraying the character Pete DeFalco, spoke to Vanessa Bayer, who was playing the singer in the popular Miley Cyrus Show, and was left aghast when she said she was inviting Bieber on the show.
Justin said: 'I also heard he got busted for smoking weed and he's really sorry about it and people make mistakes and he's never gonna do it again,' stated by The Daily Mail
The audience whooped with delight after the singer turned funnyman delivered his comedic coup de grace, according to The Daily Mail.
The one good thing about the third-person apology is that Bieber didn't back away and took full responsibility for the smoking incident.
Will it happen again? Not sure, but at least he didn't hide behind a public relations firm.
