Faith Hill showed up at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night making an unexpected statement -- she was wearing braces, Us Weekly reported. The country star, clad in a black J. Mendel gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Tom Ford shoes and a Bottega Veneta clutch, and standing beside her husband Tim McGraw, sported a metallic addition to her signature smile.
This isn't the first time TV viewers saw Hill wearing braces. She first wore them at the Country Music Awards in June, according to Us Weekly. Recently, she explained her dental gear to radio station KNIX. "I had braces as a kid. I forgot to wear my retainer," she told the station, Us Weekly reported.
"Kids, wear your retainer," Hill joked at the Grammy's.
Hill and McGraw, 45, are parents to daughters Gracie, 15, Maggie, 14 and Audrey, 11. Gracie and Maggie both wear braces as well, according to Yahoo! Music.
In this video below, taken during Country Music Awards week, you can see Hill sporting her braces.
