In a show of just how delusional celebrities are about the world and its problems. former American Idol contestant Carrie Underwood wore a necklace worth $31 million to the Grammy Awards.
"This is worth like more than me, and everything I have, and have ever had and ever will have," Carrie Underwood laughed, when chatting with Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson on the red carpet at the Grammys.
Her necklace had 381 carats of oval, pear, marquise and round brilliant white diamonds, according to Yahoo, which was confirmed by Underwood, stating,"381 carats of gorgeousness," Carrie laughed, according to Access Hollywood.
When asked if the Johnathon Arndt necklace was accompanied by security, the 29-year-old singer said, "actually it didn't, unless they're like lurking. They might be that good," reported Yahoo.
The necklace wasn't the only reason she was on display as she took home the Grammy for the best county solo for "Blown Away" and performed "Two Black Cadillacs," while her grey dress was turned into an animated light show.
"I love making country music that I feel like anybody can get into, no matter what genre you listen to. I just want to make good songs, sing good songs, write good songs," said Carrie Underwood.
As for the light show, "They can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days," Underwood told reporters backstage (see videos below). "I said I should take that home where we can watch movies on it. ... You wanna watch movies on my dress?,"according to Yahoo.
