United Victim Attorney Now Works With Woman From American Airlines Incident

After the video of a man being violently dragged off a United flight from Chicago became viral, looks like another airline is taking its place in the spotlight. Just two weeks after the United incident, another video surfaced in the social media where a male flight attendant from American Airline was shown forcefully taking away a stroller from a sobbing mother with twins, in which other passengers said the stroller almost hit the babies' heads, according to Travel Pulse.

Now the attorney of Dr. David Yao, the passenger involved in the United incident, has taken the mother involved in the American Airlines issue as a client as well. Atty. Thomas Demetrio, in his exclusive interview with the TODAY Show, said a lot of things about both issues.

According to him, the United Airlines should expect a lawsuit against their company in the near future, as Mr. Dao is apparently still suffering physically and mentally because of the incident, and he's still nursing a "significant concussion", a broken nose, and two broken teeth, NBC News reports.

But unlike the United incident where they were further dragged in hot waters after taking so long to apologize, American Airlines immediately issued an apology statement about the whole incident and assured the public that they have taken the necessary steps to compensate for the victims' inconvenience and suffering. When asked whether a lawsuit will be filed against American Airlines as well, Atty. Demetrio said he still isn't sure.

"What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers," said American Airlines in a statement." We are deeply sorry for the pain we have caused this passenger and her family and to any other customers affected by the incident."

Att. Demetrio added that the United and American Airlines incidents are good examples of why everyone needs "fairness in dignity". He also hopes that these latest incidents will resonate with people all over the world.
