Aaron Hernandez Dead: Biblical Verse Written On NFL Star’s Forehead; Pouncey Posts Tribute On Instagram

Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez, 27, was found dead on April 19 in his prison cell. Reports suggest that Hernandez apparently committed suicide in a Massachusetts jail. Following this, a recent update reveals that Hernandez had the words from the Bible that is "John 3:16" on his forehead when found dead.

The news of Hernandez's death has shocked many people. Mike Pouncey, a close pal of Hernandez shared an emotional post on his official Instagram page for the late player. Pouncey has been his former college teammate at Florida.

In his emotional post on Instagram, Pouncey recalls his last conversation with Hernandez. He also writes, "I will forever miss you and love you bro." He continues, "...we will meet again rest easy!" reported Yahoo Sports.

The investigation to find the exact cause of death of Hernandez is going on. The WBZ I-Team has learned a new update that Hernandez's forehead featured the bible verse. The verse reads, "shall not perish but have everlasting life," reported CBS Boston. It further reports that the WBZ investigators are looking into the possibility that he may have smoked synthetic marijuana called K2, on Tuesday night.

As per media report, the former tight end for the New England Patriots has apparently committed suicide by hanging himself with a bed sheet attached to a window in his cell. Lifesaving techniques were used to bring him back to life. But that did not help and Hernandez was declared dead.

Hernandez had been serving life imprisonment for committing the murder of Odin Lloyd (2013). The life sentence was declared without the possibility of parole. As soon as he was charged with Lloyds' murder the Patriots released him. As a result, most of his life was enclosed in the walls of the prison.

Just before the murder of Lloyd, he was charged with the murder of Safiro Furtado and Daniel de Abreu outside Boston nightclub. But recently, Hernandez was found not guilty in the incident which took place in 2012.
