Jenners on Runway: Sisters Strut Their Stuff at The Heart Truth Show in New York City

For all the negative news that surrounds the Kardashian family, it is a welcomed change to see something positive, and though it comes courtesy of Kylie and Kendall Jenner (half-sisters of the Kardashians)--it still counts.

The sisters, dressed in Badgle Mishka matching-red dresses, strutted their stuff during The Heart Truth Fashion Show in New York City yesterday, to help draw awareness to heart disease, according to Yahoo.

The Red Dress Collection is a tradition for The Heart Truth Show that brings many celebrities under one roof to help find a cure for the disease that is the leading cause of death for both men and women," according to cdc.gov.

And, though the Jenner sisters wore matching-color-and-designer dresses they were still able to show off their individuality.

As reported by Cover Media, Kendall, 17, went for a slightly rockier edge, wearing her hair in a quiff and sporting embellished detail on the sleeve of her dress.

Kylie, 15, wore her brunette locks sleek and straight and chose a plunging back for her red gown.

"It's fun to be with your sister, but, at the same time, we don't always want to be grouped as Kendall and Kylie at all times. We are growing up. I'm 17. I'm going to be 18 soon. I'm not a baby anymore," Kendall explained to WWD.

Walking the catwalk, the sisters looked "all grown up," as stated by Christianpost.com.

"I'm not saying that I'm an adult, I'm not saying that I'm old, I'm not saying that I'm better than that, but I am saying that people need to realize that Kylie and I are growing up," she told Us Weekly. "We are starting to do our own thing and becoming older, mature women. We're not little kids anymore," said Kendall, as reported christianpost.com.

No matter how people see the sisters or how they see themselves, on this day the awareness of the disease that has killed "about 600,000 people a year in the United States-that's 1 in every 4 deaths," according to cdc.gov.
