Jurors have seen photos of Arias and Alexander engaging in sex and photos of the bloody crime scene, featuring Alexander's dead body.
Arias has been trying to explain a possible other side of her lover. Alexander was a Mormon inspirational speaker, but Arias claims he had a secret side. She says he was a womanizer who was very abusive and she said she killed him because he attacked her.
"He attacked me and I defended myself," Arias told the jury on Monday.
The couple met in 2006 and became very close. However Arias said he was sexually abusive and emotionally distant which left her feeling used.
