Prince Death Update: Authorities Unsealed Documents Related To Death; Scattered Pills Found At Home

It was almost a year since Prince died of an accidental drug overdose. During the recent police investigations, new updates of Prince's death revealed that there were some littered pills that were evident in his home. These were the findings when a document was unsealed by the court for the first time.

Investigators discovered several pills in a zip lock which has a label of "Watson 853." It was known as a hydrocodone-acetaminophen and was one of the prescriptions given by his doctor. The "Purple Rain" singer was allegedly going through withdrawal and it was said to be a result of his prescription medication, Mirror reported.

It was also discovered that some of his medications were not placed in the right bottles while some of the pills were found inside a vitamin container. These investigation results lead to the possibility that there can be a pharmaceutical mislabelling of drugs or those pills were made and obtained illegally by Prince.

Further, these revelations came on the day just before his first death anniversary. And definitely, this gave the insight into the possible caused of Prince's death. It was also reported by the authorities that there were about 125 pills which were recovered from Prince's home. Some of those pills were identified as an opioid painkiller and which weren't kept in pill bottles, WFTV reported.

In one of the interviews with the detectives, it was revealed by a doctor named Michael Todd Schulenberg that he saw Prince twice prior to his death. According to him, he gave the star an oxycodone prescription which was under another person's name for his privacy's sake.

In one of the toxicology reports, it was shown that Prince died due to a fentanyl overdose and as of now, the authorities aimed to focus their investigation as to who was the source of such drug which caused his death. For the meantime, investigators seized his computers, emails as well as medical records.
