Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle: Here’s How ‘Suits’ Star Competes Neck To Neck In Making Charity Appearances

Kate Middleton has been making public appearances and supporting charity events in the past. She has been actively associated with many social causes. But a recent report reveals that Prince Harry's love interest, Meghan Markle, is giving a close competition to Middleton in the charity appearances department.

Prince Harry is besotted with his girlfriend Markle. Currently, it is reported that he was missing from the annual Easter Sunday church service. He is believed to be spending the holiday in Canada with the "Suits" star.

Meanwhile, one of the reported reasons why Prince Harry has fallen for Markle is due to her active involvement in social service. Markle's contribution in the social service department includes working on issues such as female empowerment and equality with the UN. Apart from this, she has been a global ambassador for World Vision Canada, as reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry. It is interesting to note that she has been involved with these social activities before the news of her relationship with Prince Harry was revealed.

On the other hand, Middleton has been engaged with charity and making public appearances only when she became a princess, as per aforementioned source. With that, Markle has an edge to Middleton in this aspect. The report also adds that some of the charities Middleton and Prince William are associated with include Action on Addiction, the Scout Association, Place2Be, and others.

Recently, Markle has shut down her popular lifestyle blog, The Tig. In addition, she has quit as the ambassador of Canadian fashion store Reitmans, reported Daily Mail. She has been an active brand ambassador of Reitmans and has modeled for the same. But her recent decision has raised brows of her fans. Therefore, it is difficult to determine who will have an edge in making charity appearances in the upcoming years.
