PETA Slams Beyoncé: 'Her Outfit Was Made of Leather Python and Iguana Skin'

If it is something that happen, didn't happen, should of happened, but for some reason didn't-PETA is now claiming that Beyoncé's Rubin Singer designed outfit was made with skin that belonged to a python and iguana.

"We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés... she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully," it reads. "Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score," the group stated to E!.

It is obvious that PETA is choosing to go after celebrities and other public figures to wear the, in their words, "humane vegan options" that are available by some designers.

"Beyoncé missed the mark on that score when choosing her Super Bowl ensemble," they added in their E! statement.

However, some in the entertainment industry have no issue with Beyoncé ensemble:

Make-up artist Toya Forbes, for instance, commented on Twitter, "Pretty sure Beyoncé could start a cult now. I'd join if I could get that outfit," according to examiner.com.

This isn't the first time the famed singer has been targeted by the group, they were also unhappy with her Dior, full-length mink coat, that she wore during "Lip-Synch Gate," her now infamous lip-synching of the national anthem at President Obama's inauguration.

At least the group did have something to cheer for at the Super Bowl, one of their own members, Baltimore Ravens' linebacker Terrell Suggs, who recently joined the group's Ink not Mink" campaign.
