In a permanent testament to love, a young Russian woman has allowed her tattoo artist boyfriend to tattoo his name on her face.
The Huffington Post reported that Lesya Toumaniantz from Saransk, Russia allowed her boyfriend, Rouslan Toumaniantz to ink hs name on her face, the day they had met in person.
The Sun reported that her beau inked "Ruslan" across her face in Gothic letters, 5 inches tall, virtually covering her whole face. The pair met on an online chatroom and are now engaged and Lesya has already changed her last name to Toumaniantz on Facebook.
"It's a symbol of our eternal devotion. I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body," she said according to The Daily Mail.
The pair said that they quickly fell "head over heels in love," reported The Daily Mail. Above Lesya's eyebrow he also wrote "All For Love."
Lesya who is visibly almost as crazy as about tattoos, as she is her man, is learning how to tattoo under Ruslan's leadership. A friend of Lesya said to The Daily Mail that "Their plans for a life together include her learning to tattoo while she also gets the full-body ink that she's always dreamed of and of course a family."
Ruslan added, "I know that there are people who are terrified that Lesya has made a rash decision that she'll regret horribly, but sometimes the best decisions are the ones you make in an instant with your heart rather than the ones long-debated in your mind."
Friends of Lesya on Facebook praised the young woman with messages about how pretty she looks with the new ink.
"Sooo beautiful. even he style of the name fits your face well,' wrote one user on Facebook."
Ruslan made media headlines in 2009 for tattooing 18-year-old Kimberley Vlaeminckin's face with black stars. She accused him of inking her when she fell asleep and was unhappy with the 56 stars that covered her cheek. She said to press that she only asked for three stars near her eye.
Ruslan reportedly left Belgium because of the scandal in 2009. She said that she would sue Ruslan for the cost of removal. Only a week later she confessed that she had been awake for the entire thing and had asked for the 56 tattoos.
The Daily Mail reported that Ruslan at the time offered to pay for half the cost of laser removal because he did not want a customer to be unsatisfied with is work. He then later took back his offer.
