Looking for a romantic getaway for Valentine's Day weekend? Orbitz has released a list of the Top 10 Valentine's Day Destinations.
Orbitz learned in a survey that 80 percent of customers have never received a romantic getaway as a Valentine's Day gift, but they'd rather receive that than candy or flowers.
This Valentine's Day weekend may be extra long as February 14th is just a daw away from the President's Day weekend. This gives couples the opportunity to take an extra long weekend getaway.
"With Valentine's Day backing into the Presidents Day weekend this year it is easy to plan a long romantic weekend getaway," said Orbitz Senior Travel Editor Jeanenne Tornatore . "In a recent Orbitz survey, long weekends were a part of nearly three-fourths of Americans' vacation strategy with 71 percent taking the same or more long weekend vacations over the previous year.2 Travelers are increasingly working their vacation banks to their advantage and planning multiple long-weekend trips to different destinations, instead of just one long vacation."
Orbitz has declared itself as the "Official Travel Site of the Long Weekend." To live up to this title, Orbitz customers can core exclusive deals, fun giveaways and find tips on getting an affordable long weekend at www.orbitz.com/longweekend.
