"The Crown" season 2 star, Claire Foy, is one of the favorite fictional characters in the series. Foy together with her co-star Matt Smith played a major role in the show. They portray the characters of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in this royal drama scene.
Foy's role is already coming to an end and basically, the actress did admit that she will terribly miss doing the series. She only had a short stint on the royal drama but according to her, it was a tough job and she just can't wait to see where the story will go, Metro reported.
Foy and Smith will be abdicating from their royal roles after doing it for two seasons. However, there will be chances that there will be a recast for further shows. Foy also added in an interview that she is now unemployed and that she is already on a different team on her own.
The Golden Globe-winning actress also revealed that such role she had was a demanding one. For her, those nine months of working on it were already long enough and that was already a lot for her. Basically, "The Crown" is a series which was planned for six seasons, however; four of it won't be involving Foy and Smith anymore.
While speaking to a panel of reporters, Foy also added that as an actor, nothing is worse than staying for a show in seven years. For some fans, seven years sound awesome but for them, seven years of playing the same role is really a tough job, RTE reported.
When Foy will leave the show, she will still look forward to what will comes next for it. "The Crown" season 2 is expected to stream on Netflix and is expected to hit the screen by November.
