Super Bowl 2013 Superdome, Scoreboard Lights Go Out

The Superdome's lights just went out, with CBS' audio turning off as well.

The power outage happened at 8:49 p.m to the biggest sporting event in the world.

However, it's not too bad for the advertisers since commercials cost approximately $4 million for a 30-second spot, and with these extra commercial breaks, some of them are really be getting their value.

Currently 49ers is trailing 28-6 and driving with 13:28 left in the third, stadium lights cut out on the San Francisco side of the field.

The 49ers have had some experience with power going out at Candlestick during a Monday night game this season.
