More revelations were disclosed in the latest chapter of Hiro Mashima's hit fantasy manga series, "Fairy Tail" as the identity of the mysterious lady aboard Christina was revealed. The lady who holds the secret in defeating the Acnologia turned out to be Anna Heartfilia. It turns out that she joined the five Dragon Slayers to travel into the future using the Eclipse Gate.
In the previous chapter, Acnologia was about to attack Erza, Wendy and Jellal when the Magic Bomber:Christina of Blue Pegasus interferes to save them. The huge magical ship rammed the Black Dragon and at the same time took the Fairy Tail mages aboard. Once inside, the mysterious lady revealed herself as Anna Heartfilia.
She explained what happened 400 years ago and the plan to send the young dragon slayers into the future to defeat the evil dragon Acnologia. She also mentioned that she is the ancestor of Lucy and she acts as the caretaker of the Dragon Slayers. She added that she was the one who taught the five Dragon Slayers to read before going through the Eclipse.
According to Korea Portal, Anna's plot was to send the Black Dragon into the absolute emptiness, the Timelapse. Though the plan shows great promise of success, many fans believed that Anna's plan would lead to failure. Others say that if Lucy's ancestor will succeed, there will be no purpose for the Dragon Slayers that are sent into the future to defeat Acnologia.
Chapter 530 will be titled "Neo Eclipse" and fans believed that the "Fairy Tail" will continue on the Acnologia plot rather than the fight between Natsu and Zeref as mentioned by OharaLibrarianArtur on Reddit. The user also mentioned that the title implies a new eclipse or another Eclipse Gate that can send Acnologia into the Time-lapse.
Meanwhile, while we are waiting for the next chapter of "Fairy Tail," the upcoming movie "Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry" teases in its trailer that the manga is heading to its climax. The second feature film based on the hit anime and manga series is slated to hit the theaters on May 6, 2017.
