There are only less than seven days before the highly anticipated "Star Wars" celebration. Fans are expecting that more details about the "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi" will be revealed in the event. Meanwhile, we got to see some light into the mysterious character that will be played by the multiple awarded actor, Benicio Del Toro.
Fans have always been curious ever since Del Toro was announced to be included in the cast of the upcoming "Star Wars" movie. Many have been speculating how the Academy Award-winning actor will fit in the galaxy far, far away. One of the popular fan theory says that he will play the villain Grand Admiral Thrawn who appeared in the animated series "Star Wars Rebels" while others say that he will portray Boba Fett's son.
According to Screen Rant, Del Torro's character will be featured in the planet of Canto Bight which is commonly known as the casino planet. His character is described as a man who wears an all-black trench coat with a belt for his blaster. The shady character will have the name D.J. in "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi." However, there is no confirmation regarding the matter and D.J. could be a codename used for production.
D.J. is said to be dirty and slimy looking fellow who sports a bill-less cap and short hair where anyone cannot tell whether he is a hero or a villain. Unlike his unappealing get-up, his ship is really fancy that bears resemblance to Queen Amidala's ship from "Star Wars Episode I."
In other reports, Kylo Ren is said to have some minor appearance upgrades in "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi" as reported by io9. His previous tattered cape from "The Force Awakens" will be discarded and will be replaced by a mantle that will resemble what his grandfather, Darth Vader sports. His helmet will also be replaced by a brand-new and unscratched version, unlike the ones he is shown in the previous movie. For more concrete information, let's just wait for the "Star Wars celebration that will take place on April 13-16, 2017.
