The options for one to get marijuana are limited, to most people anyway, for those in Seattle, Washington (a state that legalized recreational marijuana use) there are apparently more options than even those in Seattle thought there would be.
How about going to Kmart?
"Attention Kmart shoppers, today's specials are 50 percent off Barbie dolls, 30 percent off all clothing and please try our new marijuana selection in the back," would be a joy for any 4/20 friendly person in Seattle to hear.
However, though Kmart could use the pot to entice customer flow, that isn't part of the plan.
Sorry for all those from Seattle who have decided to head to the local Kmart-the shipment was made by accident.
It appears that the shipment of marijuana, to the North Aurora Avenue store was tracked "to what appears to be a mis-shipment. The accidental bust yielded 10 pounds of bud, cops confirm [sic]," according to inquisitor.com.
Inquisitor went on to report that "Police said the pot wound up at the Kmart store after being shipped from Los Angeles (where marijuana is legal is some circumstances, under state but not federal law) to Philadelphia (where it is not legal under both state and federal law.)"
The problem occurred due to the Kmart location being listed as the return address.
"Delivery information on the package indicates it was originally shipped from Los Angeles to a Philadelphia address, but never made it to its intended destination in Philly ... Whoever sent the package listed the address of the Seattle Kmart on the return label, for some reason," said Police spokesman Johan Spagenthal-Lee.
Adding, "Kmart employees from the 132nd and Aurora Avenue N store had opened a box that was mysteriously delivered to their store only to discover the aforementioned treasure - 10 pounds of strangely wrapped ganja that was supposed to end up in Philadelphia."
What this means for those in Seattle looking to fill their marijuana needs is that Kmart isn't going to be an option.
As for Kmart, maybe they need to rethink the whole "the place for all your shopping needs" slogan?
