Dubai is not short of prestigious hotels, opulent resorts, and five-star accommodations. And yet, the growing Middle Eastern region still has a lot of 'firsts'. In the summer of this year, the Middle East, particularly Dubai, will welcome the first MGallery Hotel in the region.
TTN Worldwide reported that the venture is a result of the collaboration of AccorHotels, one of the leading hospitality groups in the Middle East, and R Hotels, the hospitality management division of the business conglomerate R Holding. The Retreat Palm Dubai, MGallery by Sofitel is a 255-room property that is going to be a part of AccorHotel's collection of boutique hotels.
"The hotel will soon bring a truly unique wellness hospitality experience to Dubai, building on the Emirate's unique ability to expand its offering to attract visitors from around the globe," said AccorHotels Middle East COO luxury brands Sami Nasser in a statement posted by Hotelier Middle East. The company sees huge potential in diversifying its hotels in the UAE as the Emirates is targeting to attract some 20 million visitors in the next three years. "With the wellness tourism market showing no signs of slowing, our luxury division is presented with a major opportunity to appeal to a fast-growing segment of guests placing wellness high on the priority list in their travel planning," he added.
The MGallery Hotel is more of a holistic and wellness resort than a standard luxury hotel. All guests will be offered different kinds of wellness packages designed for relaxation and total retreat, along with the hotel's range of top-of-the-notch wellness facilities, services and amenities like a yoga room, gym, a swimming pool, and access to wellbeing treatments and high-end wellness consultants.
The hotel's theme is "Serenity", "one of the hallmarks indicative of the MGallery brand", according to TTN Worldwide. The hotel will be located on the scenic coastline of Dubai Palm Jumeirah's East Crescent, and guests are invited to come to its soft opening this incoming summer.
