It looks like fans who are looking for the Nintendo Switch console will be able to purchase it in Argos, which got a huge restock, and Amazon.com. As for the Nintendo NES Classic Edition, there's still no new update regarding the console's stock.
According to a report from Daily Star, 543 Argos stores around the United Kingdom has been restocked with Nintendo's latest console. The Nintendo Switch Neon Red and Blue console is the model that has been restocked.
The Grey Nintendo Switch is still lacking in stocks, as only four units are available on UK Argos stores. Express reported that Gamestop stores recently received a restock of the Nintendo Switch.
Gamestop received their new stock of the console last March 22, but it was only a limited number of stocks, which is why stores are not accepting reservations via phone. "We strongly suggest any customer who is still looking to purchase a Nintendo Switch, visit one of our stores as soon as they can," Gamestop said.
The company added that their new stocks will likely "go fast" as they continue to see strong demand from customers looking to buy the system. In case players weren't able to get their hands on the Switch, the report said that Amazon is scheduled to be restocked on March 31.
But it's not only the Nintendo Switch that's suffering from a shortage of supplies, as the Nintendo NES Classic Edition is still suffering from this problem. And according to a report from Mic, it's likely to stay that way.
The report said that they couldn't get any stock from any Gamestop stores. Furthermore, employees of the store even said that they reached out to Nintendo representatives for more stock but was just ignored.
Stores like Best Buy and Target also don't have any more stocks of the console. The Nintendo NES Classic Edition can still be purchased on Amazon or eBay but at more than double the price.
Hopefully, Nintendo will soon have an update regarding the stocks of its in-demand Nintendo NES Classic Edition. Check out the review of the Nintendo Switch, the company's latest console.
