Microsoft has created a pre-order page on its Microsoft Store for Xbox: Project Scorpio, which could launch with exclusive game titles. The page provides details about the latest console, such as being compatible with Xbox One games and offering true 4K gaming experience.
According to a report from Mirror, the pre-order page also mentions that the Xbox: Project Scorpio has 6 teraflops of graphical processing power. This means the console will be able to provide players with amazing graphics for the games that they play.
The page also mentioned that the console will also support "high-fidelity virtual reality" and it is scheduled to be available in Holiday 2017. The availability likely hints at a Thanksgiving or a Christmas season release for the console.
There's also a sign-up button at the pre-order page for people who wants to be the first in line for the console. An email will be sent to those who signed up to inform them that Xbox: Project Scorpio is already available.
The report said that Microsoft is expected to provide more details about the Xbox: Project Scorpio at the Electronic Entertainment Expo to be held on June 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The company will be hosting a press conference on June 11 2 p.m. Pacific Time and details will likely be provided there.
Aside from details about the console, Microsoft would likely make an announcement at E3 about the exclusive games that will be released together with Xbox: Project Scorpio. Express reports that Xbox One boss Phil Spencer recently made a comment that it's crucial for them to have first-party games ready when the console launches.
He said on Twitter that he wants to give their "games more time on stage at E3." He adds that he feels that they are sometimes rushing the story of their games during E3.
No details, though, were provided as to what exclusive games will be launched alongside the console. Check out more news about the Xbox: Project Scorpio in the video below.
