‘Destiny 2' Leaked Poster Legit, Game To Launch In September, Beta Version Available In June

The leaked poster about "Destiny 2" is legitimate, which confirms that the game is expected to launch in September this year. A beta period of the game is also expected to be available in June and it has an early access to PlayStation.

According to Jason Schreier of Kotaku, the leaked photo of Bungie's latest game is legitimate and its expected for the company to make an announcement about the game soon. It has been an annual tradition of Bungie for a retailer leak information about their latest games.

Schreier said that the poster was leaked by an Italian retailer and it mentions about the upcoming beta version. Another poster showed that "Destiny 2" is targeted for a September 8 release. It is possible, though, that the date mentioned was for the European release of the game.

PCGamesN reports that the beta version will likely be having early access for PlayStation. The early access is due to the partnership that Sony and Activision has. Their partnership involves giving Sony "early access and some exclusive content on PlayStation."

The report said that the timing of "Destiny 2's" launch and the availability of the beta version is also in line with the previous installment's timeline. "Destiny" was launched in September and its first two biggest expansions were all launched in June.

Not many details have been provided yet as to the kind of game that "Destiny 2" will be, but Schreier said that the game is aiming to be different from its predecessors. One of the ways the developer is doing this is by building planet regions in the game.

If planet regions will be part of the game, it will feel less barren than "Destiny." The first game only has towns, outposts, and quests. Check out the gameplay of the first "Destiny" game in the video below.
