‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13 Episode 17 Recap: Maggie Learned Something About Her Mother, While Meredith And Nathan Progresses In Their Relationship

"Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 17 had Maggie Pierce thinking that her mother was just getting a boob job from Jackson Avery, but was distraught to learn the actual truth. Meanwhile, Meredith Grey and Nathan Riggs seems to be progressing in their relationship.

According to a report from CarterMatt, the only thing Maggie knew about her mother going into the episode is that she'll be getting a surgery. And she even thought it was just a plastic surgery.

But the truth was Diane Pierce was going to get a surgery for breast cancer. Maggie kept on pestering her mom about what kind of surgery it would be and it wasn't until Jackson was able to convince Diane to finally reveal the truth.

Maggie had a hard time accepting what she heard and she doesn't even know what to do or say. But she was able to come to grips with it and decided that she wants to be present in every aspect of the process, from Diane's surgery to her care afterward.

While Maggie was dealing with the distraught of her mother's illness, Meredith and Nathan seem to be moving to the next level. TVLine reports that the two's flirtation seems to be progressing into a relationship.

Nathan joked around a lot around Meredith because he doesn't have a good enough reason for her to get involved with him. Meredith, though, responded with that Nathan should ask her out to dinner, to which he immediately did and she accepted right away.

"Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 17 also featured some moments between Owen Hunt and Amelia Shepherd. Owen is determined to know if there's a possibility for him and Amelia to live like a married couple, asking her when she will come home so that they can work it out.

Amelia, though, didn't respond to that and Owen could only say "pull it together." Check out the promo for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 18 in the video below.
