Finding a Cheap Flight: Easier Than it Might Seem to Be

Need a cheap flight and/or hotel for a long and overdue vacation, but know that the cost wouldn't be worth the R & R so badly needed.

One option is to use well-known online sites such as Expedia and Priceline to book a complete trip, flights and hotel.

The downside: though convenient, the prices aren't always the cheapest.

Another way to go is to scan for individual flights, one leg at a time, using different airlines.

If dedicated, one might save a few dollars, but there might be issues: one airline could cancel a flight in the itinerary, change the flights departure or arrival time, or, in a rare, but not impossible occurrence, change which airport the flight will be departing or landing in.

In any of these cases, one would be at the mercy of the airlines, no way of backing out without severe penalties.

Is the headache really worth saving of the money?

According to a former airline worker, Tony Morrison, author and creator of the MyAirfareSecrets.com website and guidebook, it doesn't have to be difficult to find cheap airfare.

"I don't spend hardly any money for my travels worldwide," he said to chron.com. "I reveal a lot of information that any traveler should know when trying to find discount airline tickets," Morrison added.

However, don't think that Morrison is providing this information out of the goodness of his heart. He has an angle-an ax to grind.

"I was fired by the airlines. This guide is my revenge," is emblazoned in deep red color and large font across the homepage.

He further divulges that upon completion of his guide "I have received multiple threatening letters from major airline companies. Authorities from a number of major airlines have contacted my attorney in numerous occasions to try and forever ban this information from ever being released to the public! I've wriggled through untold legal struggles with numerous major airline authorities in order to bring forth this explosive information to you. My mission is to save YOU money. I have toiled every step, and will fight every obstacle to provide you with the classified air savings information that airline companies are panicking about every minute of the day!"

The funny part about this: it works. Check out the YouTube video of a man who used Morrison's guidebook with success.
