Brought to tears on national television, "it" happened to comedian and "Family Feud" host Steve Harvey on his self-titled talk show, "The Steve Harvey Show," during an on-air birthday wish.
"This is Rich Liss from Orlando, Florida," the caller said on air. "Do you still love me baby?"
Even before Liss finished, Harvey started tearing up-it took him a few minutes to muster up the ability to respond.
"I do love you man," he said, still visibly shaken with emotion.
The reason for the outburst of emotion became clear once the 56-year-old Harvey revealed who Liss and his wife, Becky, were.
"I was 26 years old, man. Struggling. I didn't have nothing and these people owned a furniture store in Cleveland. They took me in and gave me my first contract with my little carpet cleaning company," Harvey said. "When I became a comedian at 27, I didn't have money to travel. They gave me an account at their travel agency and man, I ran up a bill that was $11,000 just traveling and try to make it. Those people right there, they helped me out!"
It goes to show that grown men do cry, but even tears of joy couldn't stop the comedian from making an appearance.
"I think I need some chocolate and a hug now," Harvey said.
Check out the video. Dare you not to cry.
