‘One Punch Man' Illustrator Shares Opinion On Who Would Win Between 'Dragon Ball' Goku And Saitama

"One Punch Man" protagonist Saitama and "Dragon Bal" hero Son Goku are two of the most popular manga and anime superhero characters. With their popularity and super power abilities, fans can't help but wonder who would win in a fight between them and Saitama's illustrator shared his opinion on it.

According to a report from ComicBook, illustrator Yusuke Murata answered the question on whether Saitama could beat Goku during a live stream video. The illustrator had a simple "I don't know" answer to the question.

The report said that Murata's response was not that surprising, considering the artist is also a diehard fan of "Dragon Ball." The illustrator was said to be actually serious when he was answering the question, which shows that he is torn between the powers and abilities of both characters.

Murata doesn't really hide his love for "Dragon Ball." He once told fans that his kids loved the manga and he would bring them back a copy once he completes reading it and say "daddy drew 'Dragon Ball.'"

He is also amazed that the anime series is being watched by people from different generations. The report said it's really hard to tell who among the two characters would win, considering that Goku is really powerful and has the ability to keep on improving and increasing his power.

Saitama, on the other hand, was created in a way that characters like Goku and other super-powered beings would still be laughably below him in terms of strength and power. The title "One Punch Man" came from him being over powered that he finishes off most enemies with a single punch.

EpicStream reports that the only way for fans and everyone else to know who would win between Goku and Saitama is if the illustrators of the characters would actually make them fight each other. For now, fans can only continue to debate as to who among them would win. Check out a fan made video of Goku and Saitama fighting.
