‘Avengers: Infinity War' Movie Not Yet Certain To Have Nick Fury, Samuel L. Jacskon Said He Hasn't Been Updated Yet

The "Avengers: Infinity War" already started filming and it will involve some of the biggest superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, there is one important character that seems to be missing in the circulation, Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury, who has yet to be confirmed for the movie.

In an interview with Collider about Jackson's other movie, "Kong: Skull Island," the actor revealed that he hasn't been informed that his character will be part of the "Avengers 3." The interviewer said that they "know that Nick Fury is set to in 'Avengers: Infinity War.'"

Jackson replied how can the interviewer know that when he himself doesn't know it. When asked what he thought about the third movie, Jackson replied that he haven't even seen the script for it yet, so he can't comment.

The actor also adds that he keep on asking "Am I in 'Infinity War?'" When asked if he was given a shooting date, Jackson only said he wasn't given one.

Game Spot reports that "Avengers: Infinity War" is the culmination of everything that transpired in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is in this movie where Thanos gets to show how bad he really is, according to Marvel boss Kevin Feige.

Feige said that Thanos is one of the most frightening villains the Avengers have faced. In the movie, he'll show "why he is the biggest, the best, the baddest villain" the Marvel Cinematic Universe has.

It's still not clear whether or not Fury will be in the movie, but considering the character's importance to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's hard to imagine not being part of the Marvel's Phase 3. The movie has already started filming in Atlanta, but since it's still in its early stages, it's still possible for Jackson to be a part of it.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is scheduled to come out on May 4, 2018. Check out the production teaser trailer for third avengers movie in the video below.
