The fifth installment of the "Transformers" series is just a few months away from release. "Transformers: The Last Knight" is a direct sequel to "Transformers: Age of Extinction," so we will still see Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager and Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox.
There's a new cast to the movie that we should all watch out for. Isabela Moner will play Izabella, a street-smart tomboy, and in the latest trailer released by Paramount Pictures, she can be seen getting help from an Autobot.
According to A.V. Club, Paramount released the clip during Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, and it shows kids, with Moner's character being portrayed as a tough young girl. "We're covered," she tells her friends after an Autobot revealed himself to be the one helping them.
There were some reports claiming that the one who helped her in the new "Transformers: The Last Knight" clip is Bumblebee, but this is not yet confirmed. Other sources claim that this Autobot is Canopy.
Screen Rant said that Izabella has survived the battle of Chicago and she runs around with her Autobot friend Squeeks. She also appears to have knowledge about the location of other Autobots, too. Izabella is Moner's biggest role to date.
The official synopsis of "Transformers: The Last Knight" says that The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise and that it redefines what being a hero means. Optimus Prime is gone, and humans and Transformers are at war.
The hunted will now become heroes, and saving the world rests on the shoulders of Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock). The synopsis also said that only one world will survive - "theirs or ours." "Transformers: The Last Knight" is set to be released on June 23.
