President Obama officially took his oath of office at a private ceremony at the White House on Sunday, but the celebrations take place on January 21. Over 70,000 people have flocked to Washington D.C. to see the president claim his second term.
The Inaugural Ceremony starts at 11:00am EST. President Obama is expected to give his inaugural address at 11:30pm. It is then followed by the Inaugural Parade on Pennsylvania Avenue at 2:35pm EST. The president and his family will then celebrate throughout the night at the Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball starting at 7:00pm EST.
The Inauguration ceremony will include music performance by some big name artists such as James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson who will sing patriotic songs and Beyonce, who will sing the national anthem. Vice President Joe Biden will also take the oath of office again.
