It appears that "Pokemon Go" is not yet done with surprises. It looks like regional migration could happen soon in the game.
In the "Pokémon Go" universe there is a region locked Pokemon that a player from a certain region will not be able to catch unless he travels to that specific location. One good example is the leek-wielding Pokemon Farfetch'd. The creature is only available in several parts of Asia, so North American players will never capture it without having to travel.
However, just recently, "Pokemon Go" CEO John Hanke in one interview commented that a new regional migration might be possible in the future. The greater part of the entire interview conducted by Wired Germany centers on augmented reality. The CEO made a comment, however, on the higher population of Krabbys in San Francisco whereas in Berlin there was a more varied selection of Pokemon available.
In the article that was published in German, Hanke underlined that several Pokémon live only in specific places but possibly, there could be a migration. The noticeable mention of regional Pokemon is a great news for those who are weeping on not getting Kangaskhan or Mr. Mime in their locations, according to MIC. The Pokemon is available only to Europe and Australia regions, and getting one is costly considering the price of plane tickets.
The possibility of capturing all the region-locked Pokemon in "Pokemon Go" with the regional migration plan is great news for all players. In addition, the updated gym structure, as well as gym battles, are something most players are looking forward to. There is also the possibility of a trading soon in the game.
The addition of Legendary Pokemon is another exciting feature that everyone is eagerly waiting. The only drawback about these possibilities is that Niantic has not revealed a specific timeline for these to happen.
