3 Hurt on Flight: Severe Turbulence Leaves Passengers Injured on American Eagle Flight

Three people were hurt on a flight when the plane hit heavy turbulence. The passengers on board the American Eagle flight suffered from head injuries due to the incident.

The Chicago Fire Department responded to a call to Chicago O'Hare International Airport on Wednesday when the Flight 3720 landed. The fire department took one of the injured passengers to the hospital but the other two did not want to go, according to the Associated Press.

The Bombardier CRJ-700 flight carrying 26 passengers ran into excessive turbulence as it descended into Chicago, leaving many to complain about neck and back pain.

This isn't the first time severe turbulence caused injuries on a flight. In June, five people including passengers and crew members were seriously injured when the plane encountered a storm. The turbulence was so bad that people were thrown up into the ceiling and back down to the floor and the plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
