"Logan" is possibly the last film in Marvel Cinemas with Hugh Jackman casting as Logan / Wolverine, and shockingly the movie ended with no post-credit scene. It was first released in Berlin on February 17, 2017 and has recently premiered on March 3, 2017 in the United States.
According to Comicbook, they have reported that most Marvel cinema fans stay in the movie theater after a film has ended. However, when "Logan's" credits started rolling, surprisingly, no post-credit scene was included. This has led many fans of the popular film baffled and totally confused as the film truly appeared to be the last Wolverine role for the popular actor Hugh Jackman.
Thus, his recent casting as Logan may as well be the last one. The actor played the role Wolverine for Marvel films such as "X-Men: Apocalypse," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "The Wolverine," "X-Men: First Class," X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and "X-Men Trilogy."
On the other hand, the post-credit scene not being included was actually explained by James Mangold the film's director, and he stated that. The only way he can make the movie different from the rest of the other films is that he needs to do to make a sudden twist. Since, most of the other movies already have post-credit scenes the film should be more puzzling and unique to avoid having the same endgame for each film which most of the Marvel fans are already familiar about.
As per Independent, they have also reported that instead of the film having a post credit scene a pre-film teaser for "Deadpool 2" was revealed in replacement for it. They described the pre-film teaser to have shown an un-suited Wade Wilson / Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), and as the clip continues to roll he will be seen wearing a jacket with a hood.
The clip also has also shown a scene where a group of hoodlums attempts to rob a civilian. Thus, the anti-hero says "Not on my watch," and heads on a phone box to wear his Deadpool costume.
