‘Chicago Justice’ Update: New Series Is A 'Law & Order' Kind For Millennials; Executive Producers Reveal How Drama Influenced The Series

"Chicago Justice" is an American legal drama television series which was created by Dick Wolf, one of the executive producers. It went off several spinoffs and right now, they are on their fourth series of the Chicago franchise. This long time running series was influenced by "Law & Order" drama as explained by the producers.

"Chicago Justice" is going to air a series which could be a kind of "Law & Order" for the millennials. Dick Wolf has turned his God-like gazed into a Windy City and created another series for this franchise, following after "Chicago Fire". It seemed to look similar, however, the Chi-town show will be a little different since it is going to bring back Wolf's original concept of the show. Apparently, this series is just a new and enhanced face of the "Law & Order", Yahoo reported.

The series will still star Philip Winchester who trades his camouflage fatigues from "Strike Back" into being a prosecutor called Peter Stone. Stone in this show had a female colleague known as Monica Barbaro's Assistant State's Attorney Anna Valdez. This duo will also have their crusty boss who will be played by Carl Weathers.

The plot will still revolve around the story of Peter Stone who is actually a son of Ben Stone. Stone's old partner Paul Robinette will also join the cast through a guest appearance. A talk between Robinette and Stone's father will be able to reveal the long-time issues between the father and the son.

Meanwhile, as per Hollywood Reporter, executive producers of the series also revealed how "Chicago Justice" has been influenced by the long-running drama "Love & Order". The producers always emphasized that they always had the best idea on how they wanted the show to come out. They intend to launch the new series on Wednesday which follows the State' Attorney's team of prosecutors and investigators as they are trying to navigate politics.
