The creator of the most popular game "Pokémon G"o has offered interesting news on Tuesday for its avid fans of this phenomenal mobile game. The game was known to have downloads of about more than 650 million had just received a recent update two weeks ago which was the "Generation 2".
These recent update added about 80 new Pokémon monsters for the players to enjoy. But apparently, there are still more that the game creator can offer. There will be three more updates that will be coming along the way this year, according to the CEO of Niantic, John Hanke, Entertainment Weekly reported.
For a long time, players were really eager of having the feature where they can trade their Pokémon monsters but unluckily, it didn't arrive in the recent update. Further, Hanke didn't give much of the details with the upcoming updates this year. He even didn't take any questions from the audience during his appearance on the Mobile World Congress Telecommunications trade show in Barcelona.
As per Fortune, Niantic will also make a release of the whole new version of its earlier sci-fi themed mobile game "Ingress". However, Hanke didn't give details about it again; only that, he just ensures that these updates will be coming down the pike.
Further, he also wowed the audience as he revealed the facts and figures of the runaway success of the mobile game in Barcelona. It was definitely, the top grossing application in Apple's iTunes app store for seventy-four straight days since it was released from July through the mid of September.
Considerably, there were 8.7 billion kilometers that people had walked through will playing the game. As Hanke noted, it was even farther from the distance between planet Earth to Pluto. There were about 88 billion Pokémon monsters that had been captured and players had used about 44 petabytes of mobile data while playing.
