This week's episode of "One Piece" shows another filler but wonderfully made chapter following the Straw Hats' departure from Zou. The episode titled "To the Reverie! Rebecca and the Sakura Kingdom!", continued off where the previous episode ended. Several characters from way back like Dalton, Kureha, and Wapol made their first after timeskip appearance.
Episode 778 started off with Carrot revealing herself to the Sanji retrieval team where each of them was astounded to see the bunny mink aboard the ship. She claimed that she came along because she wants to go on an adventure. To lighten up the mood, she cutely bit the ears of Luffy, Nami, Chopper and Brook which she said was too hard.
Pedro however is not happy the see Carrot on the ship and he immediately ask the Straw Hats if they could turn and head back to Zou. Carrot with a cutesy teary eyes begged Pedro to let her come and she promised that she would not cause any trouble. According to Anime News Network, the whole first part of the episode is entirely dedicated to Carrots showing her cuteness and innocence unlike when in Zou where the spotlight is on Wanda.
Numerous funny scenes are also inserted in the episodes like the one where Luffy goes hungry and he ordered food to be made. However with Sanji not around, the crew are hesitant on who will make the food but they all agree that Luffy can't make the goodies. As they are waiting for someone to volunteer, Luffy presented himself to cook which the others instantly disagreed.
Meanwhile, fans are given another glimpse of the Sakura Kingdom where Chopper's mentor Dr. Kureha ordered Dalton to attend the Reverie as the kingdom's King and representative. The episode also featured a brief flash back of the Drum Kingdom Arc as where Chopper's precious moments with Dr. Kureha and Dr. Hiriluk transpired as reported by Fandom Post.
The episode was also graced with an appearance of the villain Walpol who is now king of a new kingdom called Evil Black Drum Kingdom. He told his story after Luffy Blast him into the sky and his rise to fame from a nobody into a business tycoon and ultimately a king. In Dressrosa, Viola and Rebecca will be the ones to represent their kingdom on Reverie.
