‘Better Call Saul’ Season 3 Update: Appearances Include Prominent Characters Like Walter White, Gus Fring,

The spin-off of "Breaking Bad" is already done with two seasons. When "Better Call Saul" Season 3 was confirmed, there were rumors that the season will have a lot of notable appearances.

The official season plot has been released, and the synopsis says that Season 3 will follow the twists and turns of Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) devolution toward "Breaking Bad's" Saul Goodman. The synopsis also said that Season 2 ended with cliffhangers, Mic reported. Chuck (Michael McKean) staged an elaborate con to prevent his brother from practicing law. He secretly recorded Jimmy's confession to a felony.

Now, for Season 3, the repercussions of Chuck's scheme is going to test Jimmy and Kim's (Rhea Seehorn) law practices and their romance as well. Meanwhile, Mike is on a hunt for a mysterious adversary who knows everything about his business. The official synopsis confirmed that as the season progresses, new characters will be introduced.

Drug kingpin Gus Fring played by Giancarlo Esposito is set to appear. Jesse Pinkman will hopefully appear, too, a lot of fans said. Aaron Paul has previously shared his desire to appear on the show during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. Meanwhile, Express said that Bryan Cranston could return as Walter White.

Cranston previously hinted that his iconic character may return in the future. When the actor was asked about a possibility of appearing in "Better Call Saul," he said: "I know that [creator] Vince [Gilligan] wouldn't do anything that would damage the overall brand that he's worked so hard to develop on a stunt cast kind of thing. And then I think, well what if it isn't?"

Odenkirk himself has also hinted that about other appearances in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. "I can't spill beans [but it would be] people who would be around Gus. People who would be interacting with Gus. So, think about that," he teased.
