Caitlyn Jenner's advocacy on transgenders was questioned when "America's Next Top Model" star Isis King slammed the former Olympian. Jenner, 67, talked against Donald Trump over issues on transgenders' rights. But one transgender was not happy about the athlete's advocacy.
Kris Jenner's ex-husband is helping the community according to Telegraph. She helped by reacting on the Trump action taking away government's protection of trans students. Their usage of the bathroom of their new gender and not on their gender stated on their birth certificate is no longer allowed. Jenner wants to have a dialogue with the US president regarding the issue.
However, instead of being happy for Jenner's concern, the transgender model talked against the former athlete. King said that the reality star formerly known was Bruce Jenner was not in touch with the community.
The 31-year-old model wrote an open letter addressed to the advocate. She started off by saying that she saw the video clip of Jenner calling out to Trump. King said that issues of discrimination on color and class have to be dealt with. However, she is not amenable with the "I Am Cait" star being an advocate.
Isis King said she is not needed to save the transgender community. The model has a horrible encounter with the reality star. She recalled that they met at the TransNation Queen USA Pageant in LA in October 2016. Since both of them have the same works for the community, she was excited to meet Jenner. She revealed that the celebrity and her handler did not even talk to her according to Hollywood Life. The worst she said was when they did not allow her to take the elevator with them.
Well, Isis King has a reason why she slammed the father of the famous Jenner sisters. Being a transgender and share Caitlyn Jenner's advocacy, she deserves not to be treated that way.
